Our Spring Conference will be held on Monday, May 8th, and Tuesday, May 9th, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Conference Center in Savannah, GA.
GABTO has been given a room rate of $219.00 per night plus tax and fees. We have a block of 80 rooms reserved, which we anticipate going quickly. The deadline to book is Monday, April 17, 2023. You may reserve your room by clicking here Georgia Association of Business Tax Officials (GABTO) (hyatt.com) or by calling 912-238-1234. Should you need a room for dates other than May 7th, 8th & 9th you must call to make reservations or you may email your reservations to Hyatt Reservations. Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance or reservations will be charged to GABTO’s master account, which CANNOT happen.
If the conference registration is received after April 26th, 2023, you are required to pay a $25.00 late fee, and we will not accept any registration after May 1st, 2023. There will be NO registration fees collected at the conference. Please understand that these deadlines are to ensure a successful conference for every attendee.
We are still working on the agenda, but the tentative agenda includes the following: Alcohol law discussion with the experts, Michael Sard, David Dyal, and Wright Banks; occupation tax expert Les Schneider; Georgia Department of Public Health; Department of Community Health, Medical Composite Board, and an open forum. Once the agenda has been finalized you will be provided a copy.
Please complete and return your conference registration forms online at GABTO.org. If you are unable to pay with a credit card, you can send your payment to Terry Reese. If you have not paid your 2023 membership dues, there is space on the registration form or online to pay them along with your conference fees. Be sure to reserve your room as soon as possible!
