Hey GABTO members! We are less than 7 days away from the Spring 2022 GABTO Conference located in Valdosta, GA at the beautiful Rainwater Conference Center. We will be talking about all the new and the most recent alcohol legislation as well as the latest trends happening with occupational taxes. We know 7 days can fly by fast, so we want to take a few seconds to go over some reminders and highlight a few changes.
As you all may know, many businesses are still dealing with COVID, and Hampton Inn & Suites is no different. They are short-staffed, so please arrive early, be patient, and be respectful because we all know how it feels to be overworked, underpaid, and short-staffed. Plus, we have a lot of paperwork to turn in when we arrive or check out. Speaking of paperwork, don’t forget to bring your Hotel/Motel Tax Exemption Request forms and any other forms your county or municipality requires you to turn in or get signed.
